TNR Campaigns is seeking an Executive Assistant / Scheduler for our firm’s President, Joe Trippi. As Trippi works from his Eastern Shore home, this can be a remote-work position, although occasional time at our DC office is welcome. We are a small, dedicated, scrappy group of political junkies with a fun and welcoming environment.
We are looking for a smart, energetic and detail-oriented individual who is interested in politics and can do some light political research, but whose paramount responsibility is managing Trippi’s professional life. The workflow for this job is sporadic with some times busier than others, but it is essential that this person is on-call at all times to deal with travel snafus and last-minute schedule changes.
-Maintaining the schedule of Joe Trippi
-Managing logistics and booking travel arrangements
-Fielding media requests and speaking engagements
-Tracking Joe’s expense reports
-Occasional support for the other partners/staff as needed
-Researching issues and prepping talking points as needed for speeches and TV appearances
We require a commitment to this role through the 2020 elections. We look to promote from within, and opportunities for advancement into client work are possible after the 2020 elections.
Qualified candidates will be smart, organized, detail-oriented, energetic, and willing to learn quickly and work hard. Experience managing hectic schedules for high-profile individuals preferred but not required. They will also have a good understanding of American politics and an interest in helping Trippi with research as needed. The ability to multitask and a willingness to work long hours when necessary are essential. We are heading into a busy political season–expect the unexpected and be prepared to roll with out-of-the blue assignments, but have a few laughs along the way.
TNR Campaigns is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability or veteran status.
Please submit your resume and cover letter to: email@example.com with subject line “Executive Assistant / Scheduler.” We thank you for your interest, but only those selected for interviews will be contacted. No phone calls please.
